Information on the processing of personal data (Article 13 Regulation EU 2016/679) collected by Associazione Genova Smart City
Data controller

Processing Methods
Associazione Genova Smart City will process the collected personal data mainly using computerized and telematic methods, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). The data processing operations include: collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or modification, retrieval, consultation, use, communication by transmission, dissemination or any other form of making available, comparison or interconnection, restriction, erasure, or destruction.
The data will not be disclosed to third parties nor disseminated, except in cases specifically provided by national or European Union law. The provision of data required in fields marked with an asterisk (or indicated on the form as mandatory) is essential and their omission prevents the completion of the requested procedure. The provision of data in fields not marked with an asterisk (or not indicated as mandatory) is optional, and their omission does not affect the completion of the procedure.
Purpose of Processing
The processing of personal data, with your consent, is aimed at profiling the user. Communications regarding the activities carried out by the Association will be sent to the email address provided during the membership request.
Data Retention Period
Your data will be retained for the period required by current legislation. After this period, the data will be destroyed.
Location and Method of Data Storage
Personal data are stored on paper and/or on computer servers by the Data Controller. The Data Controller does not transfer personal data outside the European Union, unless there are adequate conditions and guarantees as provided by Union or Member State law pursuant to Chapter V of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Upon the interested party’s request, the storage addresses will be communicated.
Rights of the Interested Party
The interested parties have the right to request from the Data Controller: access to personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection to processing, and the right to data portability. Requests should be sent to the Association’s email: info@genovasmarcity.it
Interested parties, if applicable, also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, following the procedures outlined on the Authority’s website (www.garanteprivacy.it).
